The Largest Paying Race In Short Course History

He won his very first short course race at the Antelope Valley Fairgrounds in 2007. Now the best in off road racing return to the Lancaster, CA facility to remember Rick Huseman, one of off road racings greatest legends.

The Huseman Memorial Weekend September 29th and 30th will be filled with two days of racing action, starting with Championship rounds 13 and 14 of the TRAXXAS TORC Series on Saturday the 29th, followed with a Series “toast to the Champions’ at BeX Bar in downtown Lancaster where the new Season 3 of the series reality show will premier.

On Sunday, the day will be full of energy as the two largest CUP races of the season are on tap, with the TRAXXAS Pro Light Cup, in memory of Jeff Huseman, will pay $15,000 to the winner. The Rick Huseman Cup, for PRO 2 and PRO 4 racers, will have a purse of nearly $65,000, pay $36,000 to the winner, with no entry fees!

Additionally, both days will feature racing with the Ultra 4’s popular with the King of Hammer event.

The entire weekend will kick off with a Memorial Golf Charity on Thursday, September 26th at Robinson’s Ranch Golf Course in Santa Clarita, CA.
