Crandon, WI (April 10, 2009)-Top Off Road Racing Champions will be back on the track in a FREE "open to the public" practice / media day extravaganza at the Perris Raceway APRIL 19-20. Racers will be available for autograph signing and the "open pits" environment will allow the fans to check out all the race vehicles up close. Top drivers Toyota / Monster Energy Supercross legend Jeremy McGrath and team mate Johnny Greaves, along with Red Bull Off Road's Ricky Johnson, PRO2WD champion Jerry Whelchel, AMSOIL's Scott Douglas, Rick Huseman, the LeDuc "Rockstar" family and many more! Drivers will be fine tuning their 900 HP race trucks getting ready for the TORC racing season to kick-off under the lights at Texas Motor Speedway May 15th and 16th.
This Perris Practice will be FREE and open to the public both days along with music, concessions, and fun for the whole family. Media and TV crews will be on hand to capture firsthand all the excitement of the first practice session of the year. "We're psyched to Rock and Roll this great fan friendly venue and get our equipment dialed in for Texas. We'll be back here in Perris May 29-30 racing under the lights for our second TORC race in what promises to be the most exciting off road short course action on the planet" stated Ricky Johnson, owner of the TORC Series.
Perris Auto Speedway is located on the Lake Perris Fairgrounds, home of the Southern California Fair. The track is approximately one hour east of Los Angeles and one hour North of San Diego. To get to the track, take the 215 Freeway, exit at the Ramona Expressway and go two miles east to the fairgrounds. You can call the track office at 951-940-0134.

TORC drivers push the limits with action-packed fender pounding on challenging natural terrain racetracks. The season kicks off May 15, 2009 at Texas Motor Speedway.
